Winter Dreams Festival FAQ

Winter Dreams Festival FAQ

Q: How long is the festival?

A: The Merchant Marketplace (both indoor and outdoor vendors) will open at 12 noon. With the commencement of the ball at 6:30 the indoor vendors will be available only to those with Ball tickets. The Outdoor Marketplace will close at 8:00pm.

Q: Where is the festival and ball?

A: Grove Station is a beautiful event space in Pleasant Grove Utah. Parking is available onsite at no charge. The festival will span both the indoor and outdoor areas of the venue, while the ball will take place only indoors.

Q: Is the venue accessible to those with mobility challenges?

A: Yes! There is only one floor and all public areas are fully accessible.

Q: Is there a group discount?

A: Yes. Festival tickets of a party of four (4) is available at a reduced bundle rate, and children 12 and under are free (though they do need to register for a ticket). Watch our Facebook Event Page and Instagram for news of promotional deals and bundles. We will let you know!

Q: If I have a ball ticket do I need a separate ticket for the festival during the day?

A: No! If you have any kind of ticket the festival is open to you from 12:00pm-8:00pm. If you have a festival-only ticket you will need a ball ticket to attend the ball and other indoor events after 6:30pm.

Q: Will food and drinks be served?

A: Food vendors at the festival will be selling delicious foods and drinks will be available for sale at the station booth. At the ball, light refreshment of hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served through the evening to guests.

Q: What ages are welcome?

A: This is an age-inclusive event! At the festival those aged 12 and under may attend for free (although they still need an official ticket so we can keep track). At the ball, anyone with a ball ticket may attend whatever their age.

Q: Are there different ticket tiers with different perks like at the Midsummer Fae Court Ball?

A: Not this time. You can simply choose from our two ticket types either attending just the festival or both the festival and ball. Everyone at the ball will get the same kind of magical experience.

Q: Are weapons allowed?

A: Our guests from Invictus are the only authorized weapon carriers. Please leave all weapons, even prop weapons, at home for everyone's safety.

Q: Is there a dress code/ What should I wear?

A: In order to fully enjoy the festival we encourage dressing up as well as dressing for the weather. Feel free to draw costume inspiration from all the wonderful winter dreams stories and your favorite fantasy stories. The ball is a fantasy formal occasion.

Q: Will Santa be there?

A: The Winter Dreams Festival is drawing from folk traditions and fantasy stories. However, we are not engaging a Santa Claus character. Instead there will be knights in armor, a Sugar Plum Faerie, The Ivy Queen, The Oak and Holly Warriors, and original characters to see and visit with.

Q: What will be going on at the festival?

A: We will have a bustling marketplace with food and gift shopping, live interactive theater, a scavenger hunt quest, and entertainments like live music, magic, and more.
